Bill Johnston joined Seymour Taylor in April 1982, becoming a partner in the firm in 1984, and then Managing Partner in 1999.
In 2009 Bill was appointed the Managing Director of Seymour Taylor after the firm joined the Hampden Group, before moving in 2010 to work at Hampden, first as their Group Chief Accountant and then later as Group Finance Director. During his time at Hampden, Bill continued to hold a Directorship at Seymour Taylor supporting the firm with general and charity audit matters, advice & assistance for SME’s and entrepreneurs.
Bill plans to keep busy by continuing to fulfil some existing roles he has as an independent non-executive Director and his extensive charity trustee work.
The team would like to congratulate Bill on an outstanding career in the accounting profession and to thank him for the lasting contribution he has made to our firm. The whole team wish Bill a happy and enjoyable retirement.
