Specialisms
I specialise in business tax and large groups, covering all aspects from capital allowances to group re-organisations and research and development tax credit claims. I work closely with all of the other directors in assisting their clients with specialist corporation tax advice including UK subsidiaries of overseas parent companies to meet their UK reporting obligations.
Describe what you do at Seymour Taylor
As an associate director, I work with clients in a wide range of sectors. I specialise in corporate tax for all sizes of business including large companies and groups, and, along with the team ensure that returns submitted to HM Revenue and Customs are in order and minimise taxes. I gain particular satisfaction from providing the wide variety of technical tax advice that clients require, including reconstructions and tax planning.

A key priority is to build long-term relationships with clients, by providing high quality advice and support, through being members of the MGI Network of accountants and tax advisers we can also assist clients who have needs in overseas territories.
My Experience
I joined Seymour Taylor in January 2006 as a trainee accountant and in that time have qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT), a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in August 2011, obtaining fellowship (FCCA) in 2016 as well as becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) in July 2013, I became an associate director in January 2020. During my time with Seymour Taylor I have assisted clients of all sizes including those with turnover of over £100m.
My interests in life are
Outside of the office I am a very keen golfer and hockey player.
