Describe what you do at Seymour Taylor

I am part of the Outsourced Accounting Services team, supporting a variety of business clients with their day-to-day finance requirements. My role focuses on preparing and reviewing management accounts and VAT returns, as well as responding to client queries and providing practical support where needed.
Alongside this, I work closely with junior members of the team, helping to review their work and support their development to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

I was attracted to Seymour Taylor because of its supportive and collaborative culture. The team has a strong mix of experience, which creates a great environment to learn and develop, while also delivering a high standard of service to clients.

My Experience

I started my career at Menzies LLP in 2019, where I gained experience across a broad client base within Outsourcing. During this time, I completed my AAT qualification and built a strong foundation in management accounts and VAT.
I joined Seymour Taylor in February 2026 to gain experience in a more close-knit firm, where I could take on more responsibility and work more closely with both clients and colleagues. I am currently studying towards my ACCA qualification, with two exams remaining.

My interests in life

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new cultures. I have a strong interest in music and enjoy keeping active through regular gym sessions. When I’m not spending time with my family and friends, I can usually be found with my two cats, Goose and Reggie.
