Groups and Consolidation
Our specialist team led by our Director Joanne Kingsnorth can help groups of companies with their accounting, audit and tax issues.
As part of a large group ourselves, we have a good understanding of the issues involved.
Consolidation is the process of combining the financial results of one or more subsidiary companies into the combined financial results of the parent company. This method is typically used when a parent entity controls another entity. Consolidation can be a formal process whereby two or more businesses are legally combined, or a method of financial reporting whereby a group of organisations is treated as a single entity.
Services we offer include:
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements, including liaising with auditors where appropriate
- Independent audit of group and subsidiary financial statements
- Preparation of consolidated management accounts
- Group-specific tax planning and advice
