Last month four members of the Seymour Taylor team went to the Royal Star & Garter care home in High Wycombe to help refresh garden furniture used in the residents garden.

The day was part of Seymour Taylor’s CSR initiative to give back 100 hours to the local community each year through a range of different events.

The team from ST helped to sand down and varnish the furniture alongside two of the Royal Star & Garter team.

Suzanne Curry, Seymour Taylor’s marketing manager said “It was great to spend some time at the care home and to give something back to the local community where we are based. The Royal Star and Garter team were very welcoming and it was really interesting to find out more about the work they do. We really enjoyed helping with the garden project and it was great to see the difference the team had made.”

Royal Star & Garter is a charity which provides loving, compassionate care to veterans and their partners living with disability or dementia. The charity also has homes in Solihull and Surbiton.
