Taking our Business Forward

As we approach the end of another year I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued business and to share with you some of the service developments we have been working on to provide you with an even better client experience.

Our Values

At the end of 2017 we started a major project looking at our company values. A key part of this was surveying a cross section of you, our clients, alongside our own team at Seymour Taylor to look at what Values would be right for our business.

Following all the client feedback, and some internal workshops with our team, we all agreed on the Values of Expertise, Support and Understanding, which we feel are at the core of our business and everything we do for you our clients, business contacts and our internal team. As we continue to grow as a company it has become increasingly important to define our values.

We believe our values will help to shape our vision for the future; they will be at the root of our identity; and will give us an internal and external advantage in the marketplace. They will help us in many ways by determining our priorities, decision making, clarifying what we are about as a business, recruiting new team members and in the work we develop and do for you, our clients.

Delivering an Excellent Client Experience

We pride ourselves on our long term relationships with clients and work hard to ensure we provide added value to the work we do. This year we have run a number of seminars for you, our clients, on areas such as ‘Making Tax Digital’, ‘Protecting your Family’s wealth’ and in December this year we will be running a seminar on Brexit. We are currently working on a new website, a part of this will be regular blogs.

As a business we have always believed in the importance of delivering a great client service and our new initiatives are helping us to develop the client experience to the next level. Our focus is that our clients should be ‘at the heart of everything we do’.

As a team in meetings we talk about our client experiences and share client feedback to build on our excellent client experience. Simple new additions like communication boards in our office have really brought this to life. Communicating the development of our client experience and our values to our team has given us so much insight to our business as a whole. We believe passionately that an ‘excellent client experience’ is more than just meeting our clients’ needs and expectations: it’s delivering that unexpected extra part of the service.

It’s been another successful year for us as a business and we were proud to win Best in Wycombe District at the Buckinghamshire Business Awards in May, and have recently won MGI Employer of the Year, MGI Professional Staff Member of the Year and have been runners up in four other awards.

We wish you wonderful festive season with family and friends and hope that 2019 is a successful year for us all.
