Update 10 July – Details of Government support for hospitality and tourism sectors published
At the Summer Economic Update on Wednesday 8 July 2020, the Chancellor announced various measures to support the hospitality and tourism sectors in recovering from the Coronavirus crisis, including a temporary five per cent rate of VAT and the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme.
Further guidelines on the operation of the two measures have now been published, setting out details of how they will work in practice.
